Role description
As Business Development Manager in Merchant Logistics, you will be at the forefront of shaping and optimizing our logistics services for AUTO1 merchants across whole Europe. You will take ownership of key projects, ensuring their successful implementation, and play a pivotal role in improving operational efficiency and merchant satisfaction. By analyzing data, monitoring KPIs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will drive innovation, improve our logistics network and help us deliver exceptional value to our partners.
Your new Role
Design and implement business initiatives and logistics processes to ensure continuous development and improvement of AUTO1 transport offer.
Manage existing logistics projects, ensuring their timely execution and successful implementation.
Optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency, reduce lead times, and increase margins on transported vehicles.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as lead time, % of major delays, compliance with implemented processes and % of vehicles sold with AUTO1 transport.
Collaborate with logistics teams across Europe and other HQ departments to achieve project goals and implement new solutions on time.
Develop customer-focused logistics services, including optimizing revenue from transport offerings to increase added value for AUTO1’s partners.
Your Skills
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Logistics, or a related field.
Experience: 3+ years of experience in logistics, project management, process optimization, or service development. Experience in the automotive industry, start-ups, consulting firms, or managing delivery timelines is a strong plus.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities, including working with data and KPIs. Advanced proficiency in spreadsheets (Google Sheets, Excel) is essential.
Results-Oriented: Proven ability to monitor and improve KPIs such as lead time, compliance, transport margins, and SLA performance.
Service Development: Experience in designing and implementing new customer services, including revenue optimization.
Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, meet deadlines, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
English Proficiency: Fluency in English (minimum C1 level) to effectively work in an international environment.
